confession #1.

i bite my nails.  it's a BAD habit, i know and i kind of gross myself out with it.  which is why i always keep them painted.  so last week when i saw this i went to my bin full of *crafty* stuff and pulled out those martha stewart glitters i bought before christmas.  finally a use for my michael's impulse purchase!  and let me tell you, it has quickly turned into an obsession.  last week, grey and green.  this week a pale peach (which i cannot find anywhere and can't remember the name of! super frustrating.) and rose gold.  mas thinks i've lost my mind and i'm not sure i disagree ... all of this sparkle, it's not my norm.

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! okay so i haven't always been big on painting my nails (always a pedi but not my nails cos i have this weird thing where i think my fingers look chubbier painted? call me crazy!) until my friend claire & april. they always post photos of their fancy nails and i'm in awe, just like i am reading this post of yours!

i visited claire in sf a week ago and it was there with her "fishnet red" that i fell in love with essie. heading to hobby lobby to get me some martha glitter! thanks for the inspiration :)

  7. MUST HAVE that rose gold! Getting married in August and it would be the prefect color to our pallet of washed out pastels.

  16. hi,
I've stumbled here from pinterest, but as an essie fanatic I couldn't not share. I'm 86% sure that your peachy color is "Tart Deco" from the Spring 2010, but it could possibly be "Van D'go" which is more melon-y I couldn't tell from the instagram.
    happy painting!

  17. Thanks! I might used your ideas. I usually paint my nails with just one color, I think I need to do some twist and made some nail art designs. :D
