    I have a crazy dress coat that I've been wearing for literally a decade. It is brocade and it has a fur collar (I know, I know, but it was vintage so I felt less guilty about it).
    A party coat is a wardrobe must, I think.

    p.s. Rachel, I finally started rocking my vintage persian lamb this winter. it does feel amazing to have a *dress* coat!!

    Would make an awesome "going away" outfit. Or anything outfit really. "taking out the trash outfit", "getting the mail" outfit, etc...
