for my crafting day...

which is happening when? i'm not sure, but i do happen to have some pom pom trim lying around. and I LOVE THIS NECKLACE. so maybe the planets will align and i might actually find a whole day to devote to my growing list of make me projects? oh i do hope so, it's long over due.

{sort of directions from ps - i made this, found by way of p}

remember that couch i wanted to reupholster?

well it is in the early stages of actually changing. right now it's only in the stage of throw some drop cloths over it and call it a day, but that is pretty significant for our household.

ps - anyone have any awesome sources for lampshades? we are in desperate need of a few and can't find anything that moves us. we also need a new coffee table, but that is an entirely different conversation.

yeah, i know it's a pain to remove.

i've been looking for a something rad to put inside an old bookcase... you know, like on the inside back part. i think this sweet wallpaper by the yard might be perfect!

it is going to be one of those days ...

it was wednesday when i heard my brother was making the trek from maine to california, and it was yesterday that i picked him up in la. today i am going to be spending most of my time taking him around the central coast and seeing what there is to see. he is only in town until tomorrow morning so we are going to make the most of it. that being said, posts will be a bit heavier than yesterday (sorry!) but lighter than normal.

for now think about gocco. i have been. for a while actually. i am thinking about starting an off-shoot of my invitation company. handmade cards and other goodies, and for now i am considering grabbing one of these little machines and going for it. one day, oh one day, i will have my own press. until then i am thinking this is the next best thing.
